Exceptionally nice student desk offered here........Strong Art Nouveau accents....with Mission Oak grain....as the pictures show the desk has a pull out drawer that turns into a writing surface complete with a hidden pencil compartment, crystal inkwell, compartments for envelopes etc and a lid that lifts up to reveal a large storage space for letterhead.....the sides feature two hidden book case compartments....so well hidden in fact that decades could pass and if you didn't know....you would NEVER know.....the size suggests that this was a desk for an adolescent male....the chair is not matched to the desk and is much older.... it is offered at $85.00.....we put the date at 1915-1920....offered at $400.00......which is a lowered price....again there is a "varnish" situation..... |

Exceptionally beautiful secretary/bookcase/drawer unit from 1895-1900 era. Curved glass on door is flawless. All compartments have working locks. Feet have wooden wheels.
